3.2 Contraindications for Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor therapy with our equipment should NOT be used by individuals with any of the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy Menstruation - you cannot use the chair while you are menstruating - please schedule your appointment accordingly.
  • Heart pacemakers or individuals with serious heart conditions.
  • Blood disorders, including problems with blood clotting.
  • Medicine pumps.
  • Metal hip implants.
  • Malignant tumors.
  • Copper intrauterine devices (IUDs) (Mirena is acceptable).
  • Metal piercings in the vagina or penis (Please remove prior to your session)
If you are unsure whether the treatment is appropriate for you, please consult a qualified medical professional before booking or undergoing any sessions at Pelvic Care.
