Pelvic Care is dedicated to providing high-quality, non-invasive treatments for incontinence and sexual health problems to both men and women. We believe that pelvic health is a crucial aspect of overall health and well-being. Our goal is to help our clients regain control over their symptoms and improve their quality of life through personalized treatment plans and compassionate care.
My Story
Attorney, Corporate Lawyer - but most of all, I am a mom to three wonderful children. After the birth of my second child I started having bladder leaks when sneezing. I assumed this was quite normal and to be expected. My first shock and horror leak was when I jumped on the trampoline with my eldest and suddenly lost control of my bladder. I was horrified! Especially as we had guests over and I had to run to change my clothes.
As the kids grew older, I desperately wanted to lose the baby weight, so I took up crossfit - there I realised that jumping rope was impossible as I would leak to the point where I would have to wear liners when exercising. I lost hope of ever jogging or jumping again.

After the birth of our third child (me at the tender age of 39 years) things when downhill. I was getting up 3 to 4 times a night to go to the bathroom. I could not finish a shopping trip without having to find a bathroom and long car journeys was terrifying!

I had to find an answer - and then I read about the Kegel Chair and its many benefits. I immediately started researching about the chair and the reviews was wonderful - but I could not find a chair near me. That is when the idea of Pelvic Care was born - a private and safe space where clients can come to heal.

And so the Pelvic Care dream was born together with Chrismarie Van Blerk, a seasoned Sport Scientist with a keen interest in chronic pain management and therapeutic massage.
I am the very proud owner of a jump rope. I can join the kids on the trampoline. My heavy periods have significantly decreased and my sexual health has improved. I shop without having to find a bathroom and I can drive from Cape Town to Kakamas on 2 bathroom breaks.

The chair gave me back the freedom to move with confidence, and now we offer a branch network throughout the Western Cape where men and women can find affordable pelvic care sessions.
I know it works, it has changed my life - and it will change yours too because - life is tough enough without peeing your pants!
